Cactus and Tryzub is a volunteer initiative operating in Phoenix, Arizona. Here, you can connect with the local Ukrainian community, get involved in volunteer and fundraising opportunities and be informed of cultural and social events. Our mission will evolve with community's needs.
Our current efforts are centered around the response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
WHAT ARE WE PASSIONATE ABOUT?
Hands down, we want Ukraine to be victorious in this senseless war. Our current focus is on political advocacy, fundraising and Ukraine awareness. Ukraine Action Summit
April 23rd-25th, 2023
Cactus and Tryzub led a 5-person delegation to the second Ukraine Action Summit that took place in Washington, DC. The delegation met with the 9 Arizona representatives and both senators or their staff in as part of a larger advocacy effort for Ukraine. We advocated for designating the Wagner group as an FTO, acknowledging Russian aggression as genocide, seized Russian asset transfer and continued military aid to Ukraine, including F-16 fighter jets.
