Bring Them Home: Stand Up for Ukraine’s Stolen Children

More than 20,000 taken. Every voice counts. Every child matters.

Every stolen child deserves a name, a story, and a way back home.

Help Return Ukraine’s Abducted Children. Call Congress TODAY!

This isn’t just about statistics—it’s about children who’ve been ripped from their families, their homes, and everything they know. More than 20,000 Ukrainian kids have been taken, and many are being raised under false identities, separated from their heritage and loved ones. Imagine the heartbreak of a parent not knowing where their child is, or if they’re safe. By speaking out, we give a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves. We help shine a light on their stories, and we push the world to act. Because every child deserves to come home.

Ask your members of Congress to support the two resolutions calling for return of abducted Ukrainian children

SENATORS: S.Res.236 - A resolution calling for the return of abducted Ukrainian children before finalizing any peace agreement to end the war against Ukraine.

HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES: H.Res.564 - Calling for the return of abducted Ukrainian children before finalizing any peace agreement to end the war against Ukraine.

Thousands of Ukrainian children have been torn from their families—hidden, renamed, and silenced. But advocacy groups around the world are fighting back with truth, courage, and relentless love to bring them home. Stand with them, speak out, and help reunite these children with the families who never stopped searching.

Founded in 2014 amid the early invasion in Eastern Ukraine, Save Ukraine has become the largest humanitarian organization focused on rescuing abducted Ukrainian children and supporting war-affected families. Initially responding to the crisis following russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and violence in Donetsk and Luhansk, Save Ukraine provided emergency aid and evacuation assistance. These initial actions shaped their core mission: protecting vulnerable populations, particularly children, orphans, and families trapped in conflict zones.

‘Bring Kids Back UA’ is a bold humanitarian initiative launched by the President of Ukraine to rescue and restore the lives of children illegally taken during russia’s invasion. It brings together the Ukrainian government, international partners, and human rights organizations to locate and return these children to safety. The plan focuses on six key areas: reuniting children with their families, providing trauma-informed reintegration support, strengthening family-based care systems, raising global awareness, pursuing justice through international courts, and building safeguards to prevent future abductions. At its heart, this initiative is about restoring stolen childhoods and defending the rights of Ukraine’s most vulnerable.

When following the devastating developments surrounding the abduction of Ukrainian children during russia’s invasion, relying on credible, well-researched sources is essential for understanding the full scope and implications of this war crime. Institutions like Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab, the Institute for the Study of War, and Georgetown University have compiled detailed data that sheds light on the systematic nature of these illegal deportations, including forced re-education and illegal adoptions. Complementing this research, investigative journalism—such as the Frontline PBS documentary Children of Ukraine—offers firsthand accounts and emotional depth that statistics alone cannot convey. Together, these resources provide a comprehensive and trustworthy foundation for advocacy, awareness, and informed dialogue.
